Acts of Science: Connected
Make Acts of Science together during Citizen Science Month
New in 2026 • Part of America’s 250th Birthday
What is it?
Acts of Science: Connected is a new, live event series that brings people together to make real contributions to scientific research at the same time. Created for Citizen Science Month 2026, Connected is part of the largest public science participation effort tied to America’s 250th Birthday.
Led by SciStarter, an official America250 partner, these interactive events invite people everywhere to make Acts of Science in a shared spirit of discovery and service, helping accelerate scientific research through collective action. Each event includes step-by-step guidance and the chance to hear from the project scientist and ask questions.
No prior experience is needed. Events are welcoming, guided, and designed for everyone.
