Volunteers and Facilitators: Use Lists to Track your Girl Scouts’ Citizen Science Progress

Keep your troop organized by creating a List on SciStarter! This allows you to track which projects your Girl Scouts view and join.

How it works:

  1. Once your Girl Scouts have created SciStarter accounts and chosen a project, you (the volunteer/facilitator) click “Add to List” on each project page.
  2. You’ll be prompted to name a new list or add the project to an existing list—this list will be saved to your SciStarter Dashboard under “My Lists.”
  3. In the “My Lists” section, you’ll find a share link you can send to your Girl Scouts so they can join the projects you’ve selected.
  4. You can also add custom notes to each project—like instructions for preparing or deadlines for submitting data from within “My Lists.”

Find more information about creating and managing your List here.
