DESCRIPTION
We met the scientist behind Dark Energy Explorers, a project designed to look deep into space for galaxies and black holes. Your participation will help scientists make the largest map of the universe yet and better understand dark energy.
The guest speaker, Dr. Lindsay House, is a science communication fellow for the Museum of Science, follow along with her journey at @dr.LindsayintheHouse on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
Project Leader Tip
Yes, feeling confident about 3 out of 5 of the images is a way to determine if something is real. The earlier datasets were more clear (higher signal to noise) but as we have gotten farther into the project, the sources are harder to determine, therefore 3 out 5 would warrant a “Keep this Galaxy” classification. Keep up the great work!
